Cameras
There are separate rinse tanks for cameras on board.
Dive Boats
There are two dive boats. The weather, number of divers and logistics
for the week determine which boat or boats will be used.
Day Dreamer - 44 ft oso blanco with twin inboard diesels, huge open
deck space, giant stride entry off stern platform, 2 ladders off the
stern, plenty of shade, some dry gear storage, rated for 24 divers,
usually limited to 18.
Day Tripper - 31 ft eduardono with twin Yamaha 100 hp outboards,
smaller but quicker, longer/narrower design, back roll entry, 2 ladders
- 1 on each side, plenty of shade, some dry gear storage, rated for 12
divers, usually limited to 8.
Oxygen and radio communications on board
All brand new aluminum 80's. No smaller tanks yet.
Water, iced tea, and fresh local fruit are provided.
Dive Boat
Schedule
2-tank morning boat trip and return after both dives
(typically 9:00am-12:30/1:00pm). Most dives sites are fairly close
(10-20 minutes). Mushroom Forest, one of Curacao's premiere sites, is
just around the corner.
1-tank boat dive each afternoon at 2:00pm.
Guided shore diving from 9:30-4:00pm daily
1-tank boat dive to Watamula on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00pm
Guided night diving upon request.
Boat night dive every Thursday leaves at 6:30pm followed by a beach BBQ
24-hour access to equipment storage room and full tanks for those hard-core
divers.
E6
No E6 processing available at the dive shop, however the hotel does have
someone that can run into town to drop off/pick up processing. They rent
digital cameras and can download diver's photos to disc.
NITROX
We do have nitrox - it is $13.00/tank
SNORKELERS
Snorkelers are welcome on the boat the charge is $20.00/per person per
day
and divers get first priority. If there is space on the boat they may
come along.
We have a snorkel trip Wed afternoons, the cost is $20.00 and we take
up to 24
snorkelers.
